Absolutely. You should only go out with somone because you want to. Don't be forced into doing things you don't want to do just to please other pople. Bad habit to get into. Trust me it is very hard to break once you start.

50/50.. i say no cause then u would be leading him on.. and if the date wasn't pleasant and u don't want to see him anymore he'll keep being a pest and then it'll become a cycle
yes because what if it turns out good and u and him have more in common then u think... and he turns out to be a not so bad guy...
but if ur not interested at all then don't go out w/him.. what does ur gut tell u to do...

I've done this one before and it just sends mixed signals .. It will save you and him a lot more time if you're just up front and open about your feelings towards him.
If you don't want to go out with him ... make sure you beat this into his head ... and if he keeps asking ... Tell him it's rude and you already made your decision. Tell him nobody like a pushy person ... !

Yeah, then you're leading him on. But tell him that, and maybe he'll get the point, say something like 'If you want me to go out with you so you'll stop bugging me about it, then I will, but not because I like you.'

um yeah it really is cuz then he thinks that you like him and ur leading him on and really though u dont go out wit someone so that they stop bothering you its just wrong

Yes, you are just setting yourself up for a stalker in the making, if you go out with him, you are sending him the message that you are interested in him when you are not. Once you go out with him he is going to be even more interested in pursuing you. Just say "Thanks but no thanks" and tell him you are not interested. Be nice and just say "NO"...

probably becuz he might come bak and think u gonna be his girlfriend and he tells everyone and stuff...tht's what this one guy did when he thought i asked him out..but i didn't
