You want good carbs for sustained energy
1 packet of oatmeal
1 piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter
1-2 eggs
1 bananna or 1 apple (better than coffee for a kick in the morning)
30 - 40 ounces of ice cold water before game time
Low fat, good carbs.. and some protein too
take food with you (fruits) to keep you going banannas work great for pick me ups when you're getting light headed/dizzy.. drink the water like it's your job!!

Something with lots of carbs and protein but not too much fiber. Make sure that its a small meal. Also try to avoid eating it less than an hour before you play. You could always opt for some type of powerbar or something like that if you dont want to eat too much.

Eggs, sausage, toast, but keep it light. Something like a breakfast sandwich (Jimmy Dean) is really good, for protein, and carbohydrates.

Lean protein, whole grains, fruits & vegetables.
Try a veggie omelet, 2 slices of whole grain toast with preserves, a glass of orange juice, and a serving of fresh fruit.

noooo!!! no protein, u should eat only carbohydrates before training to have energy and burn it :) for example: cereals, dark bread, fruits and vegetables. but no sugar! after training eat protein to build ur muscles - meat, eggs, natural yogurt, fish (best)...
