The main issue to be considered when discussing virginity is are you in love and do you want to share this special part of yourself. Sex is a very intimate and enjoyable activity. It is the most private way of expressing your love for someone to engage in love making. Doing this before you are ready can be hard emotionally to handle - if you have any hesitations the answer should be wait. If you are ready and want to share this with someone who loves you and you mutually love, well then it is probably okay, but please know that sex brings the possibility for babies and sexually transmitted disease - so there are consequences for this very feel good activity. That is why being prepared is very important.
