Well, it's not my dog, but it's a dog that I know about. well, this is how it goes:

Well, one day there was a lonely wife who's husband died a year ago, then she was lonely at home (even though she had a horse),until one day she looked in the newspaper and saw that there was this animal shelter who had this beautiful little golden retriever puppy for sale so she called to ask if it was still available, and they said that it was still there and no one wanted it at all, so she got in her car and rushed to the shelter and bought the puppy and she named it, Kaleisha. Years passed as she Fed and gave the puppy water and a loving home. One day, Kaleisha showed that she appreciated all that her owner had gave her, (shelter and loving care) because this day wasn't going to be a normal day, it was going to be a tragedy.
That day, Kaleisha's owner was happy, although it was a winter day, she brought out her horse(Sunny) and let it walk around in her 20 acre sized land that belonged to her and her friendly neighbor, Miss. Higrophia. Miss. Higrophia were happy to see Kaleisha's owner again because the last time they saw each other was 2 years ago, and then, happy Kaleisha joined them and when Miss. Higropia saw Kaleisha and how big she's gotten, she was so surprised. Then, Miss. Higropia felt a little cold and asked if they could talk inside, and Kaleisha barked which always meant a yes, so, they did but they forgot about Sunny and left her outside, eventually, Sunny got cold and tried to neigh as loud as she can but it didn't really work so she jumped over the fence and into the dark woods. Once Miss. Higropia left, they noticed that they forgot all about Sunny and when Kaleisha's owner looked out her window, Sunny wasn't outside playing, she was gone. And so Kaleisha's owner ran out the front door and searched for Sunny, but she wasn't anywhere! At the exact same time, Sunny was running on thin ice half a mile away but didn't notice and fell through with a big splash into the frezzing water.
Then Kaleisha noticed a scent going into the dark forest so she started to bark and walked into the forest and Kaleisha's owner didn't know what was going on with her dog, but she was just eager to find Sunny that she followed her dog into the forest. They carefully serched for Sunny using Kaleisha's nose and the owner's eye and then Kaleisha finally stopped where she could no longer smell anything so the owner told Kaleisha to stay there and she walked in front and saw Sunny stuck in the frezzing water and tryed to to help her but insted, she fell in herself.3 minutes later, Sunny managed to get out of the frezzing water and the owner was left in the water hanging onto a rock. Kaleisha was getting frantic to help her owner so she ran back through the forest to her owner's neighbor, Miss.Higrophia and barked, but it didn't seem to work at all. and so there was only one thing that could save her owner, to risk her own life to save hers and so she ran back into the forest and saw that her owner was getting pulled into the ocean very quickly, even though it was winter because the ice were breaking apart every seconed as time passed so she jumped into the frezzing cold waters and swam to her owner and her owner grabbed her collor, then Kaleisha swam her owner who was pulling her leash to shore. The problem was that the owner was in the water for too long that she couldn't walk anymore so Kaleisha had to show her the dog way to walk while holding her leash. So the owner got on her legs and arms and started to crawl all the way to the top of the hill and they finally made it but it took the last of the owner's energy to climb up the stairs and into her home where she called 911 and went to the hospital. Fortunatly, she got better, but Kaleisha never made it through so she died.
The horse, is no where to be seen. Also, doesn't matter what, the owner will always remember her little hero,Kaleisha.

THE END OF STORY.

I don't memorise everything, but, this is the best that I can remember so I hope that you enjoyed it.

I have a gray kitty, her name is Punkin. Punkin was born without any eyes, but that doesn't slow her down in the least, she chases flies, can chase a ball around and do just about the same thing any other cat can do. In fact about the only way you could tell she was blind is the hit or miss way she jumps upon the couch. She just throws caution to the wind, and takes a flying leap, sometimes she lands in the right place, and sometimes she doesn't. But it doesn't make any difference to her as long as she gets there eventually. She is very sweet and loving and of course I have to keep her inside to protect her. But on those days when I do take her out when I can watch her. The same awe and fascination with something as simple as a blade of grass is there. This may not be too inspiring or touching, and in fact I was told to put her down when she was born. But I couldn't do that, I just couldn't look into that cute little face and deny her her right to exist.

I know you'll get tons of responses on this one.....My 1st little dog(she was westhighland and chiuahuah-white)Prissy..she went everywhere with me......if you wouldn't accept my dog I didn't go..but she was very well behaved (a not by much training..she just had a fabulous personality)that was back when the hubby and I would go tent camping and fishing........Prissy LOVED to go fishing and she would get down right PO'd if you did not let her lick the fish before you put it in the cooler......and we did a lot of traveling back then and she was an excellant traveling companion....1 sunday morning before we left for church...I went out with her for her 'potty walk' when she found a pygmy rattlesnake.......it bit her on her right lip and needless to say I FREAKED...I ran inside and found my vets home #. while hubby collected the (dead)snake...he agreed to meet us at his office where thankfully she got the needed injection and pulled through but the poor think did swell up something fierce...we had her for 15 yrs before she passed away..........exactly 1 mnth after she passed I found Tigger where the momma cat had left him but she moved his 3 siblings..I gave her 24 hrs to come back for him but she didn't and he was 3 maybe 4 days old......so...I became momma and he is the sweetest tom kitty....he never uses his claws on you but he will bite....and LOVES his catnip and he was 8 yrs old last mnth.............I apologise for the mini novel but..these critters are my kids and I am a proud momma:)

When I was about ten, or 11... the smallest brother of my mom, who was about 23 on those times, always annoyed me and once, we were at grandpa's house where there is a big fountain. So, my uncle took me and told me "I will throw you to the fountain!!! whahahaha!!!" And so I began screaming and yelling for help, and my dog, who now is almost 10, ran to my uncle and began bitting his leg until he put me down. ohhh!!!! That was so special for me, for the first time i saw that brother-hood instinct in dogs and I confirmed my love for dogs and this special place I keep for my maltese doggie Nala. =)

This was a really touching story. It reminds us of the OTHER reason why man originally bred dogs - to do work. He doesn't gush about how he loves his dog, but the tender way he understands his dog is very touching.

My CAT! One night my ex-fiance started to slap me. He was drunk. My cat - all 22 lbs of him - jumped on this chest and scratches the blue blazes out of him!

Also - one night - a mouse ran across the room. I thought I saw it - not sure. my kitty was in my lap and never stirred. Mouse moved again! My ex-fiance grabbed kitty and took him over where the mouse was/had bee. Kitty looked at him and jumped back up on my lap. After we had gone to bed, I felt kitty jump up, but didn't cuddle. Something wrong! I turned over to see my kitty - with mouse in his mouth - using his paw to wake up my ex! He was standing on his chest! My ex woke up and froze. Kitty just stood there for a minute and then walked away! All I could do was laugh!

You might want to check out "Rainbow Bridge." There is a poem there that any of us who has lost our pets should definitely read.
Thank you for letting me talk about my beloved Kitty. He is now at Rainbow Bridge.
