Rehearsal is typically first like others have said, but I had a "bridesmaid's luncheon" the day of to spend some time with just my girls...then we did the rehearsal in the afternoon, and the dinner that evening. Although you want to keep it limited mainly to the wedding party, close family and friends, and the wedding photographer, save some seats for any out-of-town family who have travelled long distances and will be in town that day. They always appreciate being included for their trouble! Good luck =)

Really doesn't matter. We are having our dinner before the actual rehearsal. Because of the fact that the dinner/rehearsal are at 2 seperate locations and long distance apart, we're not having it on the same night! We are having our dinner on the weekend before the wedding and the rehearsal is the following Wednesday, the wedding is the Friday night. Good Luck...you don't have to listen to everyone, just do what you feel.

The wedding rehearsal comes first and then your invited get together for the rehearsal dinner. Most rehearsals are during the day, therefore the dinner is later.

Usually the rehearsal comes before the dinner, especially if alcohol will be involved. (After all, we do want everyone to remember what they are supposed to do on the big day!) But as long as everyone knows what's going on, you do whatever works for you. Sometimes the schedule is dictated by the person running the rehearsal.

Usually, the rehearsal comes first. But for my friends wedding she had a poolside bbq for the dinner during the afternoon, and then we went to the rehearsal afterwards. It was a lot of fun!

I've always done the rehearsal, then the dinner. Alcohol is usually served with the dinner, and you don't want to try and rehearse where to stand, what to say, etc., with a bunch of drunk people...LOL
