Before you have met them - I mean, do you automatically think that if they have a certain type of car, they behave in a certain way? If so, what is the best car for a guy to drive? Does its value hold any significance? What would u think to a guy that drives a modified ford escort for example? Or a classy BMW 3 series?

no not really... the theory is basically that people buy the kind of car they can afford.... so many woman may think a cheaper car... a poorer guy...lol...on the other hand a guy could just be leasing... or choose not to spend all his money on something that depreciates as soon as it leaves the lot... in the end all that matters is how the guy treats you.... his personality/ intelligence/ sense of humor/ values/ etc//.. its the guy you spend your life with- not the car!

Yes, at least most of the time. If a guy drives a run down car I would think that he might be lazy (ex. he won't get a job to make enough money to buy a better car). Now if a guy drives a Corvet or a BMW I would think that this guy has it made. In a way a guy should think of his car as an expression of himself, so a chipped up car would be a poor expression and chances are some other guy with a stylish car will definitely increase his chances of giving off a good impression.

Yeah, I'm quick to judge a guy by his car. I hate body kits, stickers, big stereos...basically all the ghetto substitutes for a truly nice car. If a guy has little money and a crappy car, I'd rather he put in a racing engine than get a paint job or a spoiler. There's something exciting about getting into a junkbox and finding yourself plastered to the seat when it takes off! Overall, I like muscle or classy cars, like the BMW or an old classic. Or, if he's a manly man, he'll have a big shiny pickup truck that he has to help me into :-)
If he can't afford to go out with me because he has to make a ridiculous car payment, that's a big turn-off. So are little bitty sports cars; at least until he gets some grey hair and lots of money, so I can imagine it's only his "fun" car and he has something classy and beefy at home in the garage. Like a Bentley...nice!

ford escorts are rubbish, even converted. The spoilers do exactly what it says on the tin "spoil" them. BMW's are not much better either. They are pricey but a bit boring if you ask me. Men driving beetles minis or metros should be banned. Boy racers are sad and should be hung.please tell them to get daddy to spend his money on a flat so they can get out of home and get a life. Guess i would judge you really then. A guy pulling up to collect me in a audi quatro or a maserati come to that, would be very nice indeed.

I have always liked guys with nice cars my new boyfriend drives a Escalade and i like how others girls wish they were in my place i think the best cars are the most expensive cars and if you cant afford one then get a sporty car . a ford escort sound really bad i couldn't date you if you drove that

I don't judge guys by the car they drive. I love cars, especially muscle cars. Muscle cars or pickup trucks are definitely awesome. However, all the guys I've dated have had cars that were not cool, but it didn't change how I felt about them. Although a guy with a nice ride is a plus, it doesn't actually mean anything.

It totally depends my taste has changed so much- when i met my fiance he told me he had a truck- i cringed at the thought- but when I saw it, it was the coolest thing- quite pimped with big wheels but not too bling- now i love trucks- because they are very practical and i think it kind of says that the bloke is quite adventerous- but BMW are also nice but yes- porches and prestige cars do make women think "wanker" but its not alway s the case- Go for A Dodge Ram- it will make you very happy plus you can get jiggy in the back!

Well, I have dated men with Jaguar's and Porche's and were professionals in their careers. I thought that this would make then less of an a** as some of the men I dated. They were just as big of an a**. Doesn't matter what car you drive or whether you are a CEO of a corporation. They can be A**es too.

It shouldn't matter but I have to confess to being disappointed when a date picked me up in a 'Robin Reliant' ( I think That is the spelling), it only had three wheels! It was so many years ago that the same vehicle now is probably cool!!!
PS I don't like BMW 's , Give me a Saab man anyday! Preferably convertible!

yes!!!!!!!!!! if he pulls up in a beat up old car that should be in a junk yard then there is no way in hell that I will date him!!!!! it just means that he doesn't have a job, he's lazy, and of course he's dirt poor!!! I think the best vehicle that a guy to drive is a brand new pick up truck (maybe a 4 door). but that's just me.
as for me, I drive a '03 BMW! call me shallow, I don't care. my dad bought it for me!
