yes, but there will be jobs that you are unable to do. I am not sure it is even possible to correct color blindness, though...

Yes they will accept you but it disqualifys you for any career fields that require perdfect vision. So if your planing on being a pilot, electrician, etc... forget it.

Only wish there were a method to correct color blindness and I would have been a pilot myself.

u can join my bro. is color blind and he is in the army. but he couldnt get into infantry or some other mos because he cant see the different shades of green. and he gets green confused with red and stuff. but no u cant correct it. its cool though he is in transportation and gets to fix humvees and stuff. i wouldnt want to be infantry anyways. good luck.

My son is colored blind. He was army served as a medic in Iraq. Doubt you could get a job doing electrical work but your answer is absolutely

I've heard stories of infantrymen in vietnam being able to easily pick out Vietnamise hiding in trees because of colorblindness, it's not correctable.

You absolutely can join even though you're color blind. I know several who are.

yes but there will be some jobs that you would be restricted from. anything where you would have to look at important images you would not be allowed to do, like an imagery analyst or a pilot.

um, I am colorblind and I am in the navy. there are a certain few things that you can't be if you are colorblind. like an electrician. red, black, green wires... hmmmmmmm.. you can't change it though pal. you gotta deal with that.
