Some Quick thoughts before I sign off (my daughter is calling from downstairs!!! I'll type fast!)
Make sure you wear a sparkling crystal tiara.
Instead of throwing rose petals, bird seed or rice- Have the guests release butterflies.
Depart in a horse drawn carriage.
Have an automatice bubble blower at your reception (I did that, it was awesome!)
Have a string quartet play classical music for cocktail hour.
Your wedding cake can be in the shape of a white castle.
Use lots candlelight.
Don't forget to use the Glass Slipper Party Picks for toothpicks. http://www.rosemarycompany.com/9486.html
You can do a search on line for fairytale weddings. There is lots of information out there on fairytale weddings.
God Bless!

OK, I get that women like the saccharine sweet stuff. And I get that my wife is more practical than most and I shouldn't give advice based on what I think she might want.
That said...
Themed weddings are an invention of the wedding industry and designed to sell YOU, the bride, more stuff. Before you invest a lot in a theme of any kind, ask yourself one simple question:
When you look back at the wedding photos in 5, 10, or 25 years, do you think you'll still be glad you made the choice to do a fairytale theme? When you're 50 years old and you're showing your kids photos from your wedding, do you think you'll want to be showing an advertisement for Disney, or pictures from an event about YOU and your husband? Just 'cause you got the Cinderella idea in your head when you were six, it doesn't mean you have to execute it now that you're old enough to get married!
(Also, when you dig into these fairytales, they are pretty dark. And don't forget that every fairytale has a VILLAIN, and do you really want to cast, for example, your future mother-in-law as the witch? It might be true, but it won't be pretty...)
If you're doing it as a joke and you're crazy-go-nuts kids, then great, it'll be a blast. But if you're taking it more seriously than high schoolers take their prom theme, I would suggest stepping back and really asking yourself how those decisions will stand up to the years.
That said, whatever you choose, you'll surely enjoy it and it will bring you much joy. Good luck!

While the Cinderella theme is nice and all, I think you should go with Sleeping Beauty instead, since you're getting married in a field.
Anyway, that's off topic. Sorry. I assume you romantic fairy tale and not Disney fairy tale. Blues and pinks are very classic fairytale colors (I think Cinderella wore blue and Sleeping Beauty wore both). For the food, you're going to have to go with whatever the banquet hall has and what you can afford. Don't worry about fitting that into this theme.
For favors, I've included a link for a woman that makes wedding bookmarks, and she has a theme of fairy tale ones. I've seen glass fairytale carriage cake toppers and centerpieces (check ebay and michaels). Almost every invitation company has fairy tale themed invitations.
Best of luck!

OK, let me first state, I am a total Disney dork. I interned at WDW even.
With that said, if you want to go with the hint of Disney's Cindy I would do this:
I would go with icy blues (reminsient of Cinderella's dress) for a color pallette.
You could do your first dance to "So This Is Love" (The song Cindy and Prince Charming danced to.)
If you could get choclates shaped like a slipper (or something shaped like a slipper) as favors.
I also found a website that has all sorts of Cinderella favors: http://www.bridalpeople.com/cinderella-fairytale-wedding/
I also (through this website) thought that you could do a Cinderella cake topper: http://www.bridesvillage.com/cinandfanthe.html
You could also somehow incorporate the theme into the invites. Think about designing them yourself and shadowing a glass slipper into the background and then tying a icy blue bow on the top. (see this website: http://cinderella.safeshopper.com/)
Cinderella is also a French fairy tale. If you want to be true to form you could do French food.
One more thing, as someone that has worked at WDW, I know that if you want good Disney stuff you can order them directly from the parks. If you want to call (or email) with an item you would like make sure you are specific in what you want. You could also call and ask for Disney's Days of Christmas. They have a lot of wedding stuff there.
Telephone: 407-363-6200
Fax: 407-352-6369
Email: wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com
Have fun! and Good Luck!

Don't limit yourself as having just one flowergirl....have a few and dress them as "fairies" - when Halloween comes around this year, get your hands on some matching fairy wings/costumes. Have a live butterfly release in the field right after the ceremony as you're walking back down the "aisle" and you can have the flowergirl fairies release the butterflies.
My colors were coral and goldenrod, which I guess is a good choice for a fairytale theme as well! But here's a tip: don't complete your color-picking until you've actually gone to the dress shop and picked out your bridesmaids dresses - that way you'll know what colors are feasibly available and you might find some ones you hadn't considered before.
Although flowers can go with just about any theme, consider mixing it up a bit for your bridesmaids - instead of holding a bouquet, I had mine holding albino (white) peacock feathers, bound together by ribbons that matched my colors and accented with a sprig of a fern-like plant. Now, white peacock feathers are hard to get your hands on (had to order mine from California on Ebay and only found JUST enough) - but thinking along those lines, I'm sure you can come up with a creative idea for something that your bridesmaids could hold in lieu of a traditional bouquet of flowers - "magic" wands, fans decorated with fairytale scenes, etc.
As far as food goes, I wouldn't go TOO crazy in an attempt to adhere to your theme (you still want people to eat!) but maybe you could do something with the dessert. Instead of a wedding cake, could you devise some way to stack cupcakes in the shape of a castle? Think outside the box! =)
Those are just a few things off the top of my head, but to be honest with you I think you'll have a lot of ideas yourself once you get out there are start browsing through what's available. Work with what you can find, customize things, and perhaps seeing some more "traditional" items will give you a good idea for something that would go better with your theme.
Good luck and congratulations, I'm sure it will be beautiful!

I had a Cinderella theme. My invitations had the carriage and the castle on them. And I believe the wording was Once upon a time the was a prince and princess and they fell in love. My cake topper was a blown glass castle and the guest favors were glass slippers filled with m&m's that matched the wedding colors. My center pieces were floating candles.

I would have to say try fairytaleweddingshop.com. They have an awesome arrangement of ideas, gifts, favors and whatnot. My best friend wanted to be married like Cinderella, but changed her mind. that was one site i checked out and it was awesome!
Whatever it is, the decorations should be soft and elegant, flowing and beautiful. Lighter in colors, maybe some shimmer with stars and sparkles. Congrats! Hope the site helps you!

Just go to Vegas, its fun, you won't have that marriage pressure and its is just wild and fun compared to all the same marriage....This reduce the risk of stress and cold feet, yelling at your man for not doing a thing and him getting all P/O and messing up your relationship. Who care what other people want....Do it...Dooo it
