Look man. Your amps are capable of delivering 1200 watts, but that doesn't mean they always push 1200 watts through a speaker. It depends on the volume.
That's a lot of power for any speaker system. Just keep the volume at a reasonable level and your speakers will survive.
And if they aren't loud enough, then turn up the volume.

The most important aspect of a subwoofer is not the size of the driver but the enclosure. Doubling the power will give only 3db of loudness but making sure the enclosures are right can not only give much more volume but the drivers will sound and respond the way they should. If your crossovers and enclosures are right then adding some power makes some sense but I would first look at the specs and quality of the amps your using. 1800 watts ILS (if lightning strikes) is NOT 1800 WRMS. Your car electrical system, stock, cannot deliver this much current so you are dealing with some smoke and mirrors here.

I agree that crutchfield is possibly between the proper places to shop for automobile audio... they have large customer provider in my adventure besides and there is not any question on the intergrity of the areas because it rather is a employer, unlike some human beings you are able to come upon on eBay regrettably.

If the loudspeaker's power ratings are around 1000W then a 1200W amplifier on each will be ok.
