is there anyone else out there that hates this slang word? my sister says it all the time and i cant stand it! dont get me wrong im down for slang, but i hate it when she says it! now she says " what's crackilackin" its worse!! the only people that i heard say this are the veteranos, (the old gansters) in my neighborhood!!

I agree with you.. BUT... if one thinks BACK to when you were a child.. we never heard the word "cool" or "kool" unless it referred to the weather and many many many other slang words that are heard today.. "crackin" is just a new word in the slang vocabulary and it too will pass with time and new ones come up... If one really thinks about it.. IT is really interesting how words develop.. slang words, that is

Everybody has a saying....at first they're funny...but then they become habits and then the next thing you know every sentence that rolls out of their heads has the offending word in it.
Slang is so mainstream...it's now the gold standard of languages! LOL
