Pretty bad. Take the vicodin BEFORE the other stuff wears off. That is what I was told when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. The pain isn't so bad if you take something before the pain comes back full on.

I have had one tooth removed, but after the numbness there wasn't much pain. I had a really bad infection and once the infection was gone it was just an annoying feeling.

Sorry to hear about that, but at least you are on your way to a healthy mouth. Be careful not to eat things that will rip the gums or get stuck in the empty sockets, and gargle with salt water to help it heal.

If you can tolerate the Vicodin, take that. However, if you've never taken Vicodin before, try taking Advil or Motrin instead.

Whatever you take, make sure you eat something first, otherwise you may vomit. I know it's difficult to eat since your mouth is swollen and sore. Maybe drink a smoothie or eat a banana?

Happy healing!

I would Take the Vicoden only if needed cause it can really do more harm then good it has Acetaminophen in it and can harm your liver so only use if really needed ok and good luck and hope you feel better soon!

Unless the teeth that you had removed were impacted, you should not need to take Vicodin. I would stick to Tylenol or Advil, preferrably Advil. Vicodin will make you hurl.

If done by dental surgeon the pain will be minimal. I am more worried about the drug for pain. It contains hydrocodone, a higly addictive drug. Take only if absolutely necessary,
