Cry when your family members die or a loved one, but NEVER cry in front of your girlfriend. She'll exploit that as weekness and your screwed.
Many women will tell you it's ok to cry in front of them. That's only because the want to "efeminate" you.
Don't do it. The one's you trust to do that are with family memebrs and those who you consider your brothers (the ones you ABSOLUTLEY TRUST with no question about loyalty).

I know this answer is a little late but here it goes. I think a guy can cry. Guys are humans too and they have emotions. Well it's not excitable for anyone to cry over spilled milk. You shouldn't hide how you feel. If someone you love die or leave and you'll never see them again then you have every right to cry. If the person your in love with cheats on ya , then cry. I don't think crying means your gay. I just think you should go to someone you trust and let it out to someone who you know won't turn there back on you. If only the guys I know would listen to his advice. I didn't answer this 10 yrs ago because back then I didn't know how to write. I hope this helped. Bye.

I think that a guys should only cry in extreme circumstances, like death or my breaking up with him. Just kidding on the last part. There are times, when it is okay for guys to cry. However, I hold the same feelings about females. I don't think people should just cry at the drop of a hat. If the situation calls for crying then it's okay to cry. If people never cry it all the emotions build up, and then they cry for no apparent reason. Or maybe that is just me, but anyways. A few tears in the eyes, not weeping sobs are preferable.

No, not for a paper cut (though those are no laughing matter either!) A guy can cry, no harm in that. Family bereavement, major disappointment, feeling very down, feeling hurt himself, realising that he has hurt someone else, tears of joy (you'll have a few of those moments each year - those are the best ones) even at 'weepy' films! Guys can cry; inspite of what some women think, we ARE sensitive creatures with feelings, not walking brick walls.

Sure it's okay to cry. Crying is a natural release of emotion. It's not good to keep it all bottled up inside. Crying is certianly okay for sad, emotional situations, most obvious being death. If something bad happens or if he's just been through a lot and is depressed. I should think crying would be okay since most girls are trying to make their guys fruity anyway. Crying is not gay. Waxing your eyebrows is.

If I see a guy cry, to me it means he is in touch with his feelings and he is human. My bf cries but that is because he is a compassionate, caring, and sensitive individual who cares deeply about the things that are going on around him. Also, a lot of my male friends do cry and no, they are not gay. I think that this is the sign of the new men in the millenium who are not afraid to hide their feelings. It's about time!

I hope it's OK for guys to cry because I do. Tears are simply liquid feelings that can weigh you down and make you feel as though you are walking through deep, sticky mud unless you release them. Any situation I can think of works. Doesn't have anything to do with gay as far as I can learn.

Certainly not every little thing.........especially if a guy cries more than me. People should cry when there is a loss, pain or sadness in their life that has hurt them deeply. That loss can pertain to any loss. People can cry when they are immensely happy... that means they are experiencing unbelievable joy. If I were with a man that never cried........I would be very concerned as nothing touches him so deeply & emotionally to allow his body to weep.

It is okay for a man to cry. Deaths, injuries, something happening to his child...those are only a few things to cry about. Men shouldn't hold back tears because of other's stupidity, just cry and don't stop until you feel you should!
