African American is very prone to breakage and dryness. All the products that these big companies come out with, are made with so many harsh chemicals, when you use them, you think they're doing justice for your hair, but they're doing exactly the opposite. My best advise to you, would be, to use natural or organic products that will fortify your scalp and hair. Also check out www.carolsdaughter.com, the products are all natural and it is well worth what you pay for. Remember avocado, olive oil, and 100% aloe are great for your hair.

just go to the beauty supply store and ask the chinese people that own it. they sell the stuff all day and know what the best products are, or you can go there and look for cosmotologists who shop there and ask them. they can recommend something.
