Girls - Where would you choose to go for a first date?

I love to treat ladies like princesses and spoil them rotton. I love to pick them up in my newly polished car and present them with a bunch of pink roses. Then for a drink before a meal at the best restaurant in town. After some great conversation and good wine, it's back to her place, to drop her off before a goodnight kiss. What's your ideal first date?

Personally I HATE getting roses....... Why does every guy buy roses?? Where is the thought? It's cheesy - there a billion other flowers out there, but men do the easy because they think all us girls will actually think he put more than 2 seconds thought into it.

If you want to actually WOW the girl - buy her an Iris or Lillis, something more fitting for HER. A girl will receive thousands of roses in her life - but she will remember an iris.

Anyway to finally answer your question..... An ideal first date wouldn't be anything too extravagant - he can't try too hard because we all know the more at the beginning the less there will be to come. So a simple yet romantic dinner and a show (not a movie I am not 12) then if we feel it - a soft good night kiss (if we really feel it - breakfast in bed)

If you want to take me on a date, then this is what I want, first, you would need to treat me to a day at the spa and shopping with my best friend!
Then fly me to New York for the fanciest and biggest dinner that money can buy, then we would fly to Hawaii so we could go for a long walk on the beach and then back to the top of the tallest restaurant for dessert before you fly me home and give me a kiss on the cheek and if you were really lucky, you would be making me breakfast the next morning! LOL

Wow you sound like a prince charming, and that's lovely. My ideal date would be a nice meal, a few drinks then a walk along a beach to watch the sunset, with lots of cuddles and laughs. Hmmmmm :-)

I like the way you think. Another way for a sure fire great first date is to learn more about the girl you are going out with. See if you can find out what she likes to do.

She may be more comfortable taking in a movie or horseback riding. It really depends on where she is most comfortable.

u can take ur girl 4 the first time at a restaurant which is quite and solace so that both of u can enjoy talking and rather knowing each other without being distracted.then obviouslyn u can take her to some ice cream parlour and then sum shoppinf (if ur pocket allows)and then drop her back carefully.(she's delicate)

I love your idea of a first date but my BEST first date, i would have to say he told me it was a surprise and next thing you now, we were fourwheeling!!!! It was sooo much fun and a definite ice breaker!!! I was laughing within minutes, then we went to dinner followed by a night cap.He poliley walked me to the door with a kiss and we dated for several months

Ur idea sounds cool, but i would like my date to go surfing, watch the sunset while walking along the sand, holding hands. Walking home.goodnight kiss after a lay-down in the grass watching the stars, then to top it all off.(optional drumroll).......long slow sweet kiss..ahh sounds sooo romantic

I think that first dates aren't supposed to be all romance-y, so I wouldn't mind the movies, maybe a restaraunt (not fancy, though), or something like that. I don't think a first date is all about romance, but you do what you think is right.
