No, if you have Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia it is an auto-immune disorder. not anemic. it is totally different.

I am not sure what you mean by "lighter"? Do you mean lighter color? Blood can appear lighter or darker depending on the amount of oxygen in the sample. Oxygenated blood is bright red. Sometimes it can look "lighter" when someone is anemic and needs iron.
Or do you mean "lighter" because the drop of blood floats to the top of a bottle of Copper Sulfate at a blood mobile? That is a sign that you might be anemic and need more iron in your diet.

If you mean if it's a lighter color than normal?? If so, it probably means your hemoglobin is lower than normal or something else. When in doubt, see your physician.
