I take golf and I love it. I think it should be a sport in school. It would be hard to figure the schedule out, but it's worth it. Who would take golf if schools offered it?

my school offers it. the schedule makes some team members miss classes though. personally i find golf a little boring. no offense.

Yes, especially if there is a golf course within walking distance. My alma mater (East Chicago Central High, East Chicago, Indiana) offered it... there was a golf course right behind the school. I didn't join the Golf Team or take the course because my Dad had us all golfed out from an early age.

Golf is offered in most high schools and I have yet to hear of a college that does not have a team. I have played for my high school for two years now and I have a blast. You get to meet so many new people and play at all these wonderful courses for free. For girls, golf is the easiest way to get a scholorship. Even if you are no good, I would reccomend playing for your team because you will have a BLAST!!!

Schools should definitely offer it. It would be an option other than the team sports. Just put the practices as the last class and let them go ahead and leave. Finding a good course willing to let you practice and play there all the time and possibly host tournaments would be the hard part in setting a program up though.

YES. Golf is one of the biggest sports around. Look at how much it has grown. All colleges have golf teams that play in serious territory. They also pay off if you want to be in field of this buisness. All schools in south east have golf teams (HIGH SCHOOL)

My school has golf and I play the schedule is kinda weird like saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings but its pretty fun and you do learn a lot

yeah, all the high schools in my neck of the woods (NC) offer golf as a spring time sport, its an NCAA sport too. If your school doesn't have it, suggest it, or if you can find enough guys, you might be able to make a club team.

olentangy and orange and liberty in ohio all offer golf for a high school sport. golf is awesome, though. just got the new ping G5 series of clubs. pimpin!

Im not sure if they would offer golf as a class but if you look into im sure you could play golf 2 ur highschool or u could start a golf club

many high schools and colleges do offer the sport. Many young girls and boys earn college admission because of their golf skills.
