My cat often chirps in a birdlike manner when he sees birds outside on the bird feeder. I had another cat previously that did the same thing. She would also yodel, or the cat equivalent! She would get in the shower [she liked the way it sounded] and just sing away.

no but my bird meows juts like a cat and hes not even a parrot hs a cockatiel

Yes, my Tonkanese does.

I think he is trying to convince them that he's a bird too so that he can bring 'em in and kill 'em. Although he's fuzzy cute, I must always remember he is a killer above all else - which is his motivation.

No he does not. He catches birds, but all I.ve ever heard him do is YOWL.
