Cuban Picadillo
1lb. ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 bay leaf
1 packet sazon
red wine (to taste)
1 potato, skin on, cut into small cubes
Green olives (optional)
Cook meat. Drain of fat.
Sautee onion, garlic, and sazon goya in olive oil. Add cooked meat. Add tomato sauce, and a bit of red wine. Cook on low at least 2 hours (the longer, the better). 15 minutes before serving, fry the potato cubes. When you are ready to eat, add the potatoes and green olives (if using. I don't) Serve over rice.

Smoked Turkey and Lentil Soup
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. smoked turkey drumstick
2 carrots, sliced
1 leek, well rinsed and chopped (white part only)
1 celery stalk, diced
1 cup green lentils, rinsed & picked over
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
6 cups water
PREPARATION:
1. Place all the ingredients in the crockpot/slow cooker.
2. Cook on low 8-10 hours; high 4-5 hours.
3. Discard the bay leaf. Remove the meat from the turkey leg and discard the bone.
To serve:
Stir the turkey meat back into the soup and serve with a sliced baguette and a green salad.

Hash.....this works really well with holiday left overs.
Start out with the left over rolls....cut them in half and line the bottom of a cassarole dish.
take the left over turky, gravy, veggies(corn, carrotes, and greenbeans are the best) and mix them together. place over the top of the rolls.
Top with a layer of left over mashed potatoes.
bake in a 350 deg oven until the hot and the potates start to turn a golden brown on the top....but don't let then get crisp on the top....usuaully 20- 30 min.

Cheese Potatoes..
Potatoes diced, Sour cream, Sprinkle cheese, Green noons,(The long ones),Butter
Boil the potatoes, but not to mushy, put a small spoonful of butter in a pan add the cheese, sour cream and onions. stir until the cheese melts, drain and add the potatoes. Put in long dish, cover with cheese and bake until cheese melts.

i admire seafood a lot. will not be able to get sufficient of it it is so scrumptious. I hate pineapple. It tastes damaging and it burns my tongue like Kiwi Fruit. specific i'm weird and wonderful i know, yet I ought to stick my tongue in milk once I've eaten it, it hurts a lot. fortuitously I hate the style besides so i'm not lacking out on something.

Cind incepe sa se rumeneasca pe o parte, se intoarce clatita pe cealalta parte, saltind cu o miscare iute tigaia sau folsind un cutit lat. Se fac pe rind toate clatitele, punindu-le intr-o farfurie una peste alta. Din cind in cind se amesteca compozitia din castron , ca sa nu ramina prea groasa la fund; in acest caz se poate subtia cu putin lapte. Clatitele trebuie sa fie foarte subtiei si din 2 oua se pot obtine la o tigaie mijlocie pina la 20 de bucati.
Cint toate sint gata, se umplu perind cu gem sau cu dulceata, se intorc marginile laterale inauntru si se fac sul. Se aseaza intr-o forma si se dau citeva minute la cuptor, acoperite, sa se infierbinte. Inainte de a se servi se presara cu zahar praf.
