Thousands have in the past, we call them heroes. When a plane headed for a collision with the White House went down in PA those people gave their lives for strangers. Thousands of crosses fill Arlington other still lay in France. We own them the very life of our Country. It's done all the time. I can only pray for God to strengthen me to do just that if the need ever arises...Jim

Yes. You would be amazed at what you are capable of in a situation that triggers instinct. I put my life in danger to save an Iraqi soldier that was riddled with m-60 machine gun shells . I did it without thinking. If you were in a life or death situation, wouln't you want somebody to help you? Stranger or not. Actually a stranger is more likely to help you than a friend.

If I did, and then came back to life three days later anyway, I wouldn't insist that that stranger now "owed" me for the rest of his life -- dying was a choice *I* made, not a bargain negotiated between the two of us....

i would only give my life for 2 stranger's lives or if i knew the other person had more to live for than me

Good question. Yes, i would do that. In fact, this is known as the greatest love or service to God. The reward is limitless. But it is easier said than done.

Honestly no. I would try and save someones live, but not put mine at risk. Sorry I have responsibility's to take care of.
