Hi Space Girl!
I am going to assume that you are asking this since you want to lose weight. With this in mind, the American Council of Exercise recommend you stay active every day. This includes stuff like walking, dancing, etc. So it is not that tough to do. As far as workouts go, 3-4 days week, I believe, is a good target for people making progress.
That said, if you keep your total calories to 1500/day broken up into five meals of about 300 cals each, you should start to lose body fat very quickly. The staying active is gravy on top of this weight loss.
I believe this answers your question, but if not let me know.
Good luck with your diet and fitness goals!

3 days a week, I walk on the treadmill for 1 hr. I begin by walking at a slow, then, gradually speed up the pace. The next week, I use the elliptical machine for 45 minutes. Then, do some leg lifts and arm exercises. After each workout, I do stretches for about 10 minutes. The results are amazing!

4-5 days a week. I run 4 - 7 miles depending on what I schedule myself to do. I'll hit the weights maybe 3 times a week.

5-6 days a week. I joined Curves and it's a mix of Cardio and resistance training. Helps with toning and weight loss at the same time as long as you watch what you eat. I love it.
