I would bet, that he knew about your illness and that is the reason he broke up with you...
Oh, he may "say" its not, but, some guys cant handle situations such as that... Where it may "take his time" away from him, if he has to spend it with you, nursing you to health...
Obviously he is selfish, if he doesnt return your emails and calls, so, consider this "over", and turn to your circle of close friends and family, as "they" will be your true support, in any crisis...
I wish you well..
Jesse

I am sorry you are having a health problem. I doesn't look as if you will be able to count on this guy. I hope you have someone else you can confide in. I think you are just going to have to forget about him if he is not returning emails.
Good luck to you.

No, if he is not there when you need him the most, then he is not a friend. At least he is not a friend worth having. I used to be that type of friend (only there for the good times). He could change, but it takes time to overcome and be a better person.

Im sorry to break it to you but being "friends" after a relationship ends almost never works. Its clear he doesnt want to keep in contact with you especially if he knows what you're going thru. He is not your friend he is your ex. Talk to a true friend that you didnt have a relationship with.

never count on ex's. he probably started dating someone else. All that "friendship" crap is to get some comfort in between new relationship. Move on! You need to find some real friends.

i suggest just lay low for awhile, maybe something is going on with him too. you don't want to jump too soon and then find out he wasn't neglecting you; only caught up in his own problems and didn't want to weigh you down. wait and see if he tries to contact you after he quits hearing from you like he is used to. then question where he has been or Wat's up...Good Luck

either he's busy by having a crisis himself, or hes trying to teach you a lesson by not responding to ims or emails. lose his name and change emails ;)

Its not a reason to stop communicating with him. Sure, he should be there for you, but that doesnt mean you should cut off all contact.
