I have lot of software, media on CD's like audio and video and i worry about this software and media form being lost its like my treasure so what is the best way to make back up for these CD's with high compression? because i have lot and limit number of blank DVD.

Compression might help reduce the number of disks you need to do the backup, but that depends on what is being backed up. For instance, trying to compress a bunch of mp3's will not gain you anything.

If you're really paranoid (or is that realistic?), make two backups, and store one in a completely different place, in case of fire, theft, etc.

Zip them and burn to DVD. It's also not a bad idea to have an additional copy zipped and placed on an external hardrive. The more copies you have, the better.
