Hi Beep!

First of all it is great that you are staying active, that is key. Now all you need to do is control your calorie intake to less than 1500 calories per day, broken up across five meals of about 300 each. Eating small meals frequently keeps you metabolism up. Also, caffeine will keep you metabolism up, but limit yourself here since it can wreck your sleep or your body can build a tolerance. Diet pills that contain ephedrine will also do this but the effect takes longer to get our of your system-about 10 hours it seems.

I believe this answers your question, but if not let me know.

Good luck with your diet and fitness goals!

Eat more protein and fiber. This causes metabolism to run longer.

Eating anything will cause your metabolism to rise long enough to consume the food.

Metabolism runs shorter for simple sugars because it doesnt take long to burn off simple sugars.

You may have to eat more meals a day but smaller meals at one time, so that your metabolism stays running all day long.

Your weight training is the best way to build lean body mass, which is what will increase your metabolism. Also, adding lean protein to your diet will give your body a source to build the muscle.

The time is hard to estimate since there are genetic factors.

eat every three hours or so...not huge meals, just snacks such as fruit, some nuts, stuff like that. eat some lean protein at least for one meal. and get some carbs, they give you energy! oh, and i heard that consuming more calcium will help too. but the main thing is to eat constantly but healthy of course. that way your metabolism will keep working at a fast rate.

Healthy food. Small portions 5-6x a day.

As to how long it will take, this cannot be answered. Everyone is different.

Chuck is right. It took me about 8 weeks eating the way he described. I also didn't take in any hydrogenated oil, dairy, meat or fake rice.
