Try using more than one alarm clock and space them so they are ringing 2 or 3 minutes apart, Also, try putting the alarm clock across the room, so that you have to get up and walk to turn it off. It may also help to choose something to motivate you to get up. For example, if you get up in time you can make a stop on the way to work to pick up your favorite breakfast or coffee.

I am Nocturnal by nature. It is very difficult for a nocturnal person to handle morning hours so you are not alone. What I did was look for a job that was late Morning or afternoon starting hours. Now my Husband is a morning person. He gets about 5 hours sleep a night and is out of bed at 4AM bright and cheery and ready to roll. Try as one person said not laying back down. Move around alot after you get up, splash cold water on your face. Things like that. Good Luck.

Get 8 hours of sleep and when you get up to turn off your clock walk straight into the bathroom and take a shower. The shower should finish waking you up. Then have a cup of coffee or tea. If you don't like tea and coffee there is a caffeinated gum called Jolt gum that works well. Just don't chew a lot of it or you'll raise your blood pressure. Two pieces are the equivalent of one cup of coffee. The caffeine in the gum goes straight into your system and wakes you right up. They're using it with soldiers in Iraq. But really, I was chewing a lot of it and my blood pressure went up, so don't overdo it if you try it.

6 hours of sleep might not be nearly enough for you! You need more, around 8 hours a night.

You're hearing your alarm, so it's time to grow up, mature a bit, and actually get out of bed so you can be responsible and keep your job.

Get enough sleep so that you're rested enough to get out of bed, and instead of hitting snooze, get your **** out of bed!!!

Try sleeping earlier. Exercise 2 hours then shower then a glass of wine will help you sleep.
