I see a similarity between the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians and the United States and the illegals.

Both countries lay claim to the territory; both sides will not let up without a fight. One side with money and technology. The other side has numbers and guerilla tactics. The current strategy of appeasement is not working and relations are sliding downhill.

Should we start calling it the 'American South West Bank'?

Wonder when the car bombs will start?

It truly saddens me that people will not read a question and have an intelligent debate about it. Are there similarities? Yes. Are they the same? No.

Except in this case, we have the numbers as well as the money and technology. Mexico will never go to war with the US. They would be insane to even try. The US would completely obliterate them. It would be one of the most lopsided victories ever.

I still don't see where you're getting all the "territory" issues. The illegals here are just that - border jumpers. They're not asking for big sections of land as far as I've heard. They're basically just coming in and expecting a free ride (which we've been giving them for some time now - so of course they've come to expect it)
