We recently found an abandoned kitten that we estimate is 5,6 now, days old.
How can we take propercare of it? we already bought the milk, but is there anything else we need? And what can we do to get it to stop meowing? Also, My other cats wanna eat it i think, What can i do so they wont, Besides keeping it away from them. We dont even know if its a boy or girl yet.It still has the embillical cord.

By the milk I assume you mean kitten formula, I think other than feeding it every couple hours as much as it will drink and keeping it away from the other animals it should be ok. You might want to make an apointment with the vet just to make sure the kitten is as healthy as a 6 day old kitten can be. The vet may also have some suggestions as to how to take care of the kitten. As long as the unbilical cord isn't bleeding or oozing the kitten should be ok but the vet might want to cut off the end.
You are in for some long nights, the meowing could mean it is hungry or that it wants attention, sleeping with or near the kitten, and making sure it is warm can help make it feel safe and should stop the crying a bit. Feeding kittens is like feeding babies, every 2 or 3 hours try to get more food in it, good luck.

Bottle feed your baby every two hours, or whenever its belly stops looking really, really full. The umbilical cord should dry up and fall off on its own any time. Eyedroppers work great as kitten feeding implements. You'll also want to make sure baby stays warm. Kittens are supposed to grow up in a warm nest full of other warm kittens. It's meowing because it's uncomfortable, and you just need to make sure you keep it company, fed, and warm. The other cats aren't sure what to make of it yet. Just don't let them get too close. You might show it to them every once in a while to let them meet and start understanding that it's a family member now. Also, take it to the vet to see about shots and things. Good luck!

Don't do anything until you get word from a vet/have seen a vet with the kitten. If you have a "kitty ER" in the area rush your kitty there immediately.
The kitten is mewing because it wants milk from it's mother(Don't feed him the milk from the store as it doesn't have enough nutrients to keep him alive.)
The vet might have a cat that is willing to nurse your kitten along with it's litter but be very careful not to leave your kitten with that cat for too long or the mom cat will figure out that your kitten isn't hers!
Good luck and tell your kitty "Hang in there!" for me!

I would recommend taking it to the vet. You can buy kitten milk from the store, I have seen it at Wal-Mart. You will need to bottle feed it. I read an answer that said to wipe the kitten's bottom and you do have to do that, otherwise it will not be able to eliminate waste from its body. As for getting the other cats to not eat it, I don't know what to tell you there, are you sure they aren't trying to "mother" it??? To stop it from meowing, try wrapping it in a warm towel, not hot, and placing a ticking clock or metronome or anything with a rhythmic noise near by or folded in the towel to help calm the kitten

Take the little thing to the vet. The mother should have chewed off the ambilical cord, and you can't feed it milk. It needs more suppliments than milk can give. Let the vet give it a good once over and cut the cord, and then get the proper food for it and a bottle, as you will need to bottle feed the baby.

Kittens that small usually meow when its either hungry or cold and looking for warmth. That small you have to feed them about every two hours, day or night...at least until they are getting a decent amount in the their bellies and sucking from the bottle. buy a water bottle or heating pad that can be kept on a low setting. If you go with the water bottle, remember to keep it warm since when it cools it get pretty cold. Heating pads have timers on them too, so you have to check to make sure its on every hour. Since it summer, if you have a warm room, that could work too. They are alot of work for the first few months and just think of them like the little babies they are. Just like a human they need lots of care. Make sure to burp after feeding, and also to help it go potty after it eats. Give as much human contact as you can by holding it, it really needs loving like it mom would give. GL!

There is a lot to caring for a newborn kitten. You bottle feed them with Kitten replacement milk about evry 3-4 hours. Don't turn them on their backs or they can coke. You have to stimulate them to go potty after feeding them. You do this by taking some cotton ball or a cloth wet it in warm water and gently stoke their bottoms. You need to keep them warm and away from drafts.
For more info go to the links below. Good luck.

I agree with June V. You need to wipe the genital area with warm baby wipes so stimulate the cat so it will poop and pee. The mother cat usually licks the kitten there. Hopefully you bought kitten formula and not regular milk. Keep the kitten in a small box with towels and a hot water bottle filled with warm water. But still take it to a vet.
