i personally have that same problem. i say no because of the number of school yrs. like y would someone in college date someone in high school.
if ur ok with it then go for it but only u can answer that question.

When I was 18, my bf was a very mature 15 year old. That lasted 3 years. We had started out as friends, then best friends. My current bf was also 15 when he was dating an 18 year old and that too lasted 3 years. I guess it depends on the maturity level of both people.

It is a bit odd, but as long as you are both on the same maturity level it's okay.
That's the age difference between me and my first girlfriend. Now, she's 16 and dating a guy a year older than me. Her best friend is also 16 and dating a 19 year-old. And my best friend just turned 18 and his girlfriend doesn't turn 16 until September.
So it is a little strange if you word it like that. Also, for some reason, in all my examples, the guy is older, but still. It happens, and it's okay.

Actually, until he's 16 or 17 (depending on the state) that can be considered statutory rape. The law doesn't see consensual relations until that age. And if someone reports you, the police will arrest you and charge you with being a sex offender.

the dude has game and the girl has no self esteem or they are both nerdy and or ugly. Right? Legally there may be an issue but I dont think there is a problem with it.

What's right and what's the law don't always coincide. Legally that's not acceptable, but it probably feels right though.
