A situation which happened in the 1930s?

There was a country in Europe who felt burdened by a treaty signed in 1918 at Versailles where they lost a war and were forced to give up some territory (much like a certain treaty signed in 1848 at Guadeloupe Hidalgo).

The country sank into a recession. A new philosophy came to power, one of conquest.

They demanded the return of the neighboring territories that shared their culture and spoke their language. Austria, Altace-Lorraine, Czechoslovakia all were ceded to this country (Can anyone say Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California). They were continually appeased by a world leader named Neville Chamberlain (aka George W Bush).

We all know what happened next. In September 1939 the world was plunged into the largest war ever seen.

Is this what the future holds?

To all you people who have answered this question with a snide remark, go screw yourselves, okay? He asked a question with the circumstancial history to back his question, and you all STILL scoffed at him. You tell him that he's stupid because you have nothing better to say. It's okay, though. On Monday, all of you will be back in school, and the grown ups can talk in peace!

Now, to answer YOUR question. I don't think that it is something that's going to happen in our lifetimes, or in our KIDS' lifetimes, for that matter. After that, who knows?

The reason that it's going to happen any time soon is because of the fact that Mexico is a very poor country. They do not have the manpower, the weaponry, or the support of the people. Without all of those things, they can TRY to start a war, but we're going to defeat them, hands down.

I hope that was a decent answer for you.

I agree that there are some similarities because right now it seems to me like a lot of people are blaming Mexicans as a whole for the things that they can't really control, just like the Jews were blamed by the Nazis. But for WW III to happen is a bit far fetched. Most other countries have learned their lesson about what happens in these situations and there is NO way that the US could get any support from our allies for a cause as stupid as this one, even though it has happened before.

I oppose the two the unlawful aliens and their employers. the two are interior the incorrect. My husband does no longer hire unlawful aliens in his company, yet then, he would not have them attempting to get employed because maximum of his workers are former regulation enforcement officers. inspite of the undeniable fact that, my cousin and that i own/perform 2 super farms. We do have unlawful aliens take place desiring jobs and that they are sometimes belligerent while grew to become away. we've had vandalism to autos achieved by applying them. Our farms are properly-established interior the climate to pay properly and we've not got any concern hiring community human beings. they're worthwhile as properly. So there is going the myth individuals won't take the roles. a chum owns a cafe and had to call the police while unlawful aliens have been annoying to be employed and refused to leave while she informed them to circulate away. There are too many incentives to be right here illegally. They get citizenship for the youngsters they have right here, draw welfare on those infants, use ER's like they're loose clinics, get loose guidance for their unlawful alien infants as properly. yet, finally, the blame could visit the basis of the subject and that's the uncomplicated of dwelling and wages of their dwelling house countries.

NO!!! Although I would love to see another revolution in this country. The sad fact is that many people today believe what some talking head tells them to believe. You have the so called Swift-boat(liars) for truth. They say something then some right wing talking head like Rush agrees with them then next thing you know people are going along with it. FACT; Kerry WAS in Vietnam and served his country proudly. FACT; 99.5 percent of the Republicans in Bush Pigs Administration NEVER SERVED THEIR COUNTRY. In fact the Vice President got "5" DEFERMENTS because he claimed he "Had better things to do" than serve his country.

No! In fact today's generation is so F*CKED UP they want to claim people that are VETERANS of Vietnam and have seen the destruction of war and question Bush Pig's foreign policy are UNPATRIOTIC. I have to laugh because this is coming from people like Rush that was able to avoid the draft because of a boil on his ASSCHEAK. The so called patriots of today can only mouth the words. If it came down to them having to fight and die for their country they would be heading for Canada because for the most part they are YELLOW.

Seeing as history is a great way to learn fro our mistakes, and seeing that the Govt doesnt seem to pay attentiopn to History, then it is logical to conclude that WWIII is what the future holds.

But I doubt it will come about as a result of the immigration issues. We need immigration, no matter how we might feel about it. Thats a fact. WWIII is going to start over political and religious philosophies, war in the mideast and terrorism....

Oh wait, it already has....

no. people in the southwest are not gonna start a war over hispanic immigrants. part fo the reason world war 2 was so huge, is the fact that not many conflicts will ever be that big again, so even if there was one, it wouldnt be another world war

You are going to get into real trouble! You think too much. You are apparently a fast learner. Don't be hasty! Things are going to get better. Just you wait and see. Or have you already seen?

No, they weren't being overrun by foreigners who expected the country to educate and provide health care for the foreigners at the expense of their own people.

There is no parallel.

I don't see that being the same really. We're not dealing with land issues this time. You must be a history buff - wonder what you're history prof. says about it.
