some signs of obsession are feeling guilt every time you eat... even if it's a healthy low calorie nourishing meal

weighing yourself multiple times during the day

disliking the feel of eating utensils in your mouth... like not letting your fork touch your tongue or teeth

when your feelings of self worth are directly related to what you ate that day... like: you ate a salad for lunch so you feel really good about yourself.... then you have a cup of icecream after dinner so you feel like you're worthless and fat.

these are a few of the most common and easily recognized traits of weight obsession. if you feel you are suffering from weight obsession see your doctor, a counselor, or a trusted person to talk too.

good luck

If you weigh yourself once a day, or more than once a day, you are obsessed. I know you want to know if eating that celery stick made you gain a few ounces, but you don't need to hop on the scale after every bite or every set of situps. That's when your obsessed.

If you exercise constantlly and you find yourself mulling over everything you want to eat thinking "Will this make me fat?" and if you're constantly checking yourself out in the mirror and getting upset any time you see anything that looks like fat, you're obsessed with your weight.
