Just indiscriminately keep replacing parts by guess work and pissing your money away or take it to a dealer and pay the hundred bucks to find out what is really wrong. It sound to me like a Idle air valve is sticking.

Have the codes read first. Could be running rich and flooding out. May be a sensor like the MAP sensor, it can do this and not set a code. Does it puff black smoke at idle? Also did you replace the pick-up and module in the distributor? This can also do this and not set a code. Be sure timing is 10 before TDC, Check timing by pulling the spout connector by the distributor. Fuel Psi should be 30 to 35 lbs. Nore more than 40 and no less than 30. Also check the intake manifold for leaks.

all this replacing and you haven't replaced the idle speed motor which will cause the exact thing you describe....

Ford may call it a Throttle air bypass for that year also.... But common part nowadays
