the dating scene again. there is a woman who works at a local grocery store in town. real cute and seems nice. my ex brother in law knows her. how do i go about talking to her? im REAL nervous about it. havent done this type of thing in YEARS. have thought about going up to her,talking and asking her out. also thought of her turning me down and not being interested!! lol i dont really know any other ideas. how would a female prefer this to be done?? thank you for your help.

If you feel strongly go up and talk to her be firm in your convictions and you never know how she will act, and don't care what other people think If you don't score don't let it harm your self esteem. Just remember women are dime a dozen and you will always find more< Good luck

If it was me you were triing to get. I would want you to be upfront and tell me you like me and ask me if I was interested in a date. If I say yes than take things one at a time. If I say no than realize I'm not interested and to move on.

its natural that you feel nervous after all, you've had a constant in youre life for 7 years now. well myself personally i would prefer it if you asked me yourself if you wanted me to go on a date with me. you know, just go into her shop and maybe start a light-hearted conversation with her and maybe when she feels comfortable with your presence then ask her if she would like to go for a drink or whatever. but thats just me..if you suspect that she prefers the indirect approach, maybe you can get your brother in law to ask if she would go on a date with you. either way, be positive,she'll sense this and ladies are attracted to positivity in men. good luck.

don't be nervous. just be yourself. be upfront and honest. go up to her and ask her name. then tell her how you feel. the worst that can happen is if she says she's not interested. you won't know unless you try. good luck.

Check to see if she wears a wedding band. Then simply tell her that you've noticed her more than once, and would she be interested in going to dinner with you......
