The coloration change occured around the same time I started 40mg of Fluoxetine every other day. If it's not the pills, what is it?

It's been this way for about 6 weeks, so it can't just be something I ate. Any ideas?

do you take any iron supplements? iron pills often cause feces to be a greenish color. prozac (fluoxetine) should not czuse your feces to be green. the only things i am aware of are iron supplements (ferrous sulfate, which can also be found in multivitamins with iron) and a condition called clostridium difficile (c. diff). this is a bacteria that infects the intestinal tract of people who are already sick, who have compromised immune systems, and who are sick/old/chronically debilitated and who have been on antibiotics for a long time. if you are young and healthy it is highly unlikely you have c. diff. you would know if you had it because you would be having very explosive diarrhea many times throughout the day, it would be greenish in color, and have a very pungent, odorous smell. i would ask your doctor if you are really concerned.

That is usually caused by eating something that is colored with blue or green food coloring. I found that if I eat a blue coconut snow cone this happens. A very weird and scary thing to see but honestly it only happens from eating or drinking something stained that color.

Well bright green feces could be a sign of intestinal infection.

It could be something you are eating. Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops are famous for this! :) It is not an infection unless accompanied by diarrhea and cramping.
