I'm 34, and I am dating. The guys say they live w/roomates, but come to find out it's their parents! OMG! I support myself and my 11 yr. old, why can't they? Shouldn't I be appalled? or should I let it go, and still date these "mommas boys?"

I moved back home with my parents after I lost my job and needed to get back on my feet for a second. I needed a place where I could feel safe and secure to plan the next move for my life. I came up with something as fast as I could but don't move for another three weeks. I don't think there's anything wrong with living with your parents it just makes finding a place to be alone together a bit more difficult. It is embarassing sometimes to tell people that I'm living at home but when I explain the situation they understand. More and more people are staying with their folks untill they're older just because they cannot afford the lifestyle they're accustomed to on their own. Its getting harder and harder to pay the bills and have any sort of quality of life at all. You should consider yourself blessed that you are able to.

LMAO

I found the same thing when I was dating. I own my own home and was appalled to find the number of single men who lived with Mommy.

When I finally met my Honey, my first question was "Do you live with your parents?" When he looked at me funny, laughed, and told me he owned his own home I knew he was a keeper!

To all you frustrated ladies who think its out of fashion to live with your parents... May your kids throw you out of your house or leave you at the time of your life when you need them most... Amen...
