I've been playing Cows and Graveyards since I was a wee child. Here are the rules.
Passengers on left side get the left side of the road. Passengers on right get the right side. Look for cows on your side and count one point for every cow. Make up additional points for horses, sheep, llama, etc. If there's a graveyard on your side, however, all your cows are dead. Booya! You start over at zero.
I love this game. Just keep on the lookout for your opponents graveyards!

I spy; we bought a travel bingo game (kids look for road signs, planes, trucks, etc.); we go through the alphabet starting with a of course and we look for words on signs that start with that letter, when we find it we go to the next letter (you can also make this a competition, each person finds their own words and move on) - Q and Z can be difficult; and then sometimes you can't beat a good movie on a portable dvd player (or my laptop).

3-4 AHHAHAHAHAHAH wow you do not recognize what a "lengthy highway holiday" is i could do 12-15 hours distinctive situations a three hundred and sixty 5 days journeys. i could occasionallychronic. Or if my kinfolk is driving i could hearken to song, appreciate the scenary. examine a e book. And confer with others contained in the vehicle, play a talking/paper sport. count number the vehicles.

When i go on a family trip, i make copies of a map and mark each state i see on the license plates of cars and for extra points we mark the states on the side of the u-haul trucks!!! who ever claims it first owns it...u can make ur own rules and it keeps u alert....hope u can use it

my sisters & I used to play ----wagon-ho! now,it probably more like SUV-ho! or would each chose a color of a car and whoever ended up w/ the most cars their color won.
