I am asst vet tech the vet has stuff they dip your dog in for sand flies does cost but does work.

I didn't think you could get sand fleas, because I've never been bitten by one. Sand fleas are very large and a good brushing should work, but I still don't think you can get sand fleas, they must be something else.

Go to the Hardware store in your area, get you a bag of 5-10-15 severeign dust, it is used on plants and vegetables for killing insects, it is very safe for your dog. it will kill anything as far as bugs fleas ticks lice. also take a stocking and put the dust in it tie it off and just shake it on your dogs fur and in the yard what you re doing is dusting this area where he lays and all. guaranteed results. it tells you on the directions what all its good for. i have use it for many a year. i know it works,

Have you tried Adams Flea Shampoo, says it gets rid of all types of fleas.

give your dog a bath in a mixture of rubbing alcohol (1 cup) and the same with joy dish detergent . works like a charm let him soak if possible.
