It makes no difference whether you pray out loud or in your head.
God hears you either way.

It doesn't matter to the LORD however I do think it makes an internal personal difference to do it audibly. There is less distraction when you speak it out and also Habbakkuk 2:2 talks about writing a vision, I believe when you write or speak, it activates the heavenly hosts (angels) who have no knowledge of anything until the LORD or a human reveal it. (This is from the book of Philippians, 1st chapter I forget the verse)

Yes of course. If you are offering a public pray in behalf of the whole group how can they agree with what you tell God if they can't hear you? A personal prayer, Nope no difference at all.... Jim

No it doesn't, as long as you're spending quality time with God. Most of the time I pray in my head. When I pray out loud, it's either saying a prayer in Bible study or before dinner, or when I'm really stressed about something. God just wants us to talk to Him, and more importantly, to listen! :)

Not a bit.
You don't even have to close your eyes.
The Bible says to Pray without ceasing.

This means to be in a mindset of communication with the Lord.
I've offered many a prayer while driving down the freeway.

It doesn't matter in the least if you pray out loud or in your head. God hears what's in your heart.

Nope. All that matters is you're praying. God hears your prayers regardless.

Nope, I do both. Therese of Liseux said that prayer can simply be a look toward heaven--conscious recognition that there is a God, that He loves you.

The Bible mentions prayer both in silence and aloud, so yes either way is ok just as long as it's done.
Keep in mind there is a time and place for both, please do not confine your prayers to just one or the other, we are told to also confess with our mouths.
