I don't see anything wrong with that. I am twenty and when I get back on campus the fresh-meat is going to be 18. I don't know this person's personality, but take a chance. It is better to find out, than deal with the regret of not knowing what could have been.

Not really. Actually, it depends on your age. If you're a freshman in high school and he's a 7th grader: that's a bit odd.

Now: that said: My first girlfriend was 2 years 9 months and 2 weeks younger than I am. It was the summer before her freshman and my junior year in high school. She is extremely smart and socially mature, though. So the age difference was not really a factor.

The comparative maturity levels are what make the difference.

Megan and I were only together for a month, but now, two years later, she is still one of my best friends.

And you're a girl: It's not that hard to get him to notice you. Just flirt with him.

No, it isn't. My limit in either direction is 10 years, but I'm over 40. In someone in their teens, it may make a bigger difference but 2 years will not. That is still a good zone for those who are at a nice young age. My concern here is; if you are having to ask this question, you must have had some problems already with him. If it has just been your friends that are bugging you about it, screw them. If you are having a good time with him and he makes you happy, keep it up!!! Hope this helps!!!

If you like him.... and he likes you it doesnt matter the age difference. It matters if you 2 truly like each other! I like a guy who is like 3-4 months younger than me... and we have been together for 5months and if you to play everything right.... I bet that you wont even notice that he is 2 years younger than you. My mom is 2 years older than my dad and the have been married for like 14 years now!

If you are in your teens, forget it, but at an older age such a relationship can be fruitful. Age matters less as you get older. Ask him to a social event.

it's not easy especially if he has prejudices.....try to show him that age is not important when two persons get along with each other.do u have many things in common with him?show him that he can have fun with u and that 2 years is not such a big difference.don't think too much about age...just be yourself !! Good luck!
