Great question! Both fighters are obviously known for being able to take a punch as Jake done against Sugar Ray Robinson among others and as Vito done versus Hagler among others. Two very tough fighters with tons of heart and stamina! I believe that this would be a brawl with LaMotta being just a little stronger than Antuofermo and imposing his will just a bit more during the fight to a close decision win.

The Bronx Bull, Jake LaMotta was a very tough fighter, in his day he and would have stopped Vito A in a title fight about the 12 or 13 round by a tko, if you ever saw the "Raging Bull" movie you saw how savage Jake was, he was a tough man.I recently saw him in NYC, where I live and at 80 or so years old, he still looks in pretty good shape and I wouldn.t want to brawl with him even now.

Jake Lamotta. Vito was good and very tough but I know Jake was even tougher.

In the prime of Jake's career when he was in shape, he would beat Vito. He would take a beating, but he would win. LaMotta was a warrior, that guy was crazy. I heard he used to shoot a shot of cortuzone in each hand before a fight. So if he broke his hand he couldn't feel it.

Vito, in my opinion would beat Jake in close decision, although Jake hit the harder of the two, it is well known that Jake practically had to kill himself to make the middleweight limit while Vito walked around at 170 pounds and could cut the five pounds days before the fight thus making him the stronger of the two. Jake, like I wrote before could punch harder but he would tire in the latter rounds

Jake Lamotta grow to be an incredibly stable rugged fighter that relied greater on hurting his combatants than outboxing them. Bernard Hopkins is a boxer it incredibly is sweet at nullifying huge punchers that trusted hurting their combatants it incredibly is why Kelly Pavlik ,and and Felix Trinidad without word loss one sided bouts to Hopkins ,and Jake Lomotta does not be an exception. Bernard Hopkins via one sided UD.

These are two of my favorite fighters of all time:

Both men in their prime, 15 rounds, undisputed Middleweight Championship of the world.
Both men come out with fire in their eyes and desire in their fists.
each give not an inch and fight like gladiators, a better fight than Hagler/Hearns as this one goes the full 15 rounds..............
both are bloody, both are proud, and the result is a DRAW......
Rematch anyone
