peanut butter is FULL of protein. protein is what helps the body keep going throughout a vigorous workout. the jelly also gives the body that added sugar burst that will help to keep it going throughout a workout. not to mention the bread provides carbs that also add energy. it really is the perfect snack before working out and competing in sports because it will help keep the body going so the athlete doesnt get worn out.
