I would put a scrap book togather of you and the kids and other family and friends. Have each person write on a scrap paper something they loove about your husband or just something they want to tell him. Make sure you put that paper next to their picture. Also you can make a video of you guys too. I would definitly add a sexy picture of you in it too. He will love that.

I am into scrapbooking, so I would go to any craft store and get a 6x6 or 7x7 album that you can throw some pictures in and maybe a few title pages and stickers. If you're not into scrapbooking, you could always get a regular album. Nothing extreme, but maybe you can put some pics of you guys before the kids, and maybe some of the kids while they were growing up. Send him as many pictures of you and the children as possible, also include a couple of disposable cameras for him to take pictures of him Buddy's and himself. Then develop the pictures and make a big strap book full of pictures of you and the children that he hasn't yet seen (pictures) and then add the pictures of his buddy's. When my dad was deployed in the 60's we did that and till this day he thumps through it thinking back.

Something useful, like a blanket/quilt or a shirt with your pictures on it...you could also write a message on it with a permanent marker. Also, write him a love letter, and have your kids write letters/draw pictures. Just let him know how much he means to you.
