Im 21 and work in an office 4 days a week and go to uni one day a week and do homework most nights (unavoidable) I work out for 30 min 2 - 3 times a week and I eat well, have 5 portions of fruit and veg n drink enough water. I sleep for at least 6 hours a night. I just find that my motivation goes - especially when Im at work and I start to feel really tired and glazed and its really hard to snap out of it meaning that I waste lots of time. I dont really want to start drinking coffie again, as its only a temporary high. I love what I do and I feel that the feeling is holding me back. Can anyone help ?

You sound like you are doing all the right things.....but do you really want to do them. i expect the answer is 'yes' for all except your job, which, though you don't dislike it, you do it because it is a necessity. Your motivation is high outside your job, emotionally you are 'fired up' by the way you choose to live your life. What is needed is something at work to 'fire you up'. When you feel tired, cover your eyes with your palms (so you can see no outside light) for 2 minutes, let the lights settle to black, this will refresh your eyes and mind. Create some positive affirmations to substitute for 'I'm tired' like - 'I complete my work with efficiency' or ''I am alert and capable and people see me as extremely competent' or find your own affirmation that works for you. vit C is a miracle vitamin - kiwi has 15 (I think) times more Vit C than an orange - so take a kiwi to work as a snack for these 'vacant or glazed' times or take a Vit C tablet. Are you eating something different at work than you do at home that may be blocking your energy system? Sitting still can cause you to lose energy - so have frequent walks around/bend purposefully to stretch the spine, or reach high ie for something on the top shelf.

Qigong is a good exercise to train you to maintain energy levels.

Good luck.

Well, you seem to have your physical needs taken care of. Now you need to seek out some more meaningful pursuit to take up, which will stimulate your mind, heart and soul.

Look for something that can inspire you, something that gives your life more meaning than work / gym / sleep / work again.

Eat out, once in a while. Grab a friend and bring him or her along. Learn to develop a sense of spontaneity. Indulge your creativity in all things.

Discover how to appreciate beauty and the little things a bit more. A baby's smile. The funny gurgle of the bubbles rising in the water cooler. Things like that.

Speaking of water - make sure you get enough. 2 litres of it, daily. Seems to be the cure for virtually everything. ;)

Otherwise, good luck finding the meaning and purpose of your life.

Think about the biggest failure of a person in your college. Now pretend you are in his or her situation.
