No. Donkey was a loyal, loving, good friend to Shrek. Everyone should have a friend like that. Take it as a compliment.

what I would like to know is, who is Nigel just like in Shrek? If he is like Farquart, I shouldn't take any notice of him anyway. But Donkey is a good friend. A bit of a chatterbox, but a good friend. And to those who enjoy Shrek, a great laugh.

Offended is when he calls you Shrek
Plus if the Ladies hear you being called 'Donkey' you just might pull!

We've just watched Shrek2 for the umpteenth time, and I'd take it as a compliment. Donkey gets all the best lines and is loyal, steadfast and funny. And he can sing!!! It's a compliment (or at least I'd view it as one!)
