Smack it with a newspaper when you see it peeing, rub nose in it and scold in a loud and harsh voice and then put the puppy outside so it knows what it has done is wrong. Sprinkle white pepper on the floor. When the puppy sniff the floor the pepper irritates the nose. Wash the floor with a mixture of soda water, fabric softener and water where the puppy has peed.

Good luck

Your dog should have been house trained a long time ago but any ways when your pup pees in the living room tell him in a stern voice that the living room is not the potty aarea and then take him outside. Also, take your dog out at least three times a day (first thing in the morning, right after lunch, and right befor bedtime) this way your dog will gradually understand that the out side is the place for him to go potty. When your dog goes potty outside praise him but the opposite when he goes potty inside the living room.

Many of us with kids and pets know how hard it is to remove stains from mattresses and carpets. I wasted tons of money when my dog had an accident on the rug. No matter what I did I could not get that smell out. I would buy different commerical products, get my hopes up, and then find out the smell was still there! Little did I know that the solution was literally sitting in my cabinets! You take a small brown bottle of hydrogen peroxide, mix in 1 tsp of baking soda and a drop or two of antibacterial soap. Mix it gently, then apply to the stinky area. It will foam up most of the time. Dab up the excess with a towel and let dry. Repeat if necessary, but it usually works the first time. Test for colorfastness on your rug, but I have a dark rug and the only lightening I get is from the dried

Take it for regular walks. Like after eating, take it outside. At 8:30 take it outside again. First thing in the morning, take it for a walk. Until it gets used to the idea.

train him. but don't punish him unless you catch him in the act. he won't know what he is being punished for. when you catch him though firmly tell him NO and put him outside to show him where to go. and you can prevent it form happening by putting him out every half hour.
