they will get used to eachother but it will take alot of time...it depends on where you got your kitten from on how it acts...a shelter/pet store kitten will be less likely to want to be held or lay on your lap from a lack of human contact, a kitten from a foster home or personal may be more cuddley and want to be held, try pciking him up alot, he might get used to it

It takes some time for each cat to get use to each other. Kittens are rambuncious. They will try to attack anything and everything they can. They are learning how to fight, get along with and live. Some cats, unfortunately, don't like to be pet or picked up. It can be very hard. Then you can have the cat that is way too affectionate and won't leave you alone. Just give it time. I got my cat Isabella when she was 1 yr. old. I already had another cat, Dante, who was 5 at the time. It took a good 6 months for them to be completely comfortable with each other. She doesn't like to be touched and he's Mister Lovable. They all have their own personalities. If the kitten keeps being vicious bring it to the vet and see what your vet says. Good luck!

OK keep the kitten in your room for awhile. So your other cat can go by the door and smell the kitten from under the door. After about 2 weeks introduce them again. Make sure you pet the cat and talk to him or her so it doesn't get jealous. Good Luck.

I'm fostering kittens right now. The more you pick it up and show it gentle love, the more it will accept you. It might not have been socialized with people and will need to learn social skills. Keep showing compassion and gentle love, no aggressive playing for now until it trusts you. Good luck!

Yes it's normal! If both your cats are male then thier fighting for teritory or it could be that you other cat just is'n't good with cats or is used to being the baby of the family and is mad that this imposter is takeing all the atention. keep your cats together but give them both atention.

yes it is normal. I had to end up givin my other cat 2 sum1else cuz my other cat would keep pickin on her and get violent with her but that doesnt mean ur kittens wnt get along. they will get used to each other but it will take a long time.
