I would think so. That's a big deal. If he really put that in your record you could be turned down for insurance coverage, perhaps passed over for jobs. The implications are serious. If it was me; I'd be doing all that I could to set the record straight. This will follow you the rest of your life. Get on it!

You should be able to sue. In some manner this is either slander or falseifying medical records.
