It depends. How long does it last? If it is brief and momentary, it could be that you got embarrassed and/or "flushed."

A feeling of fire in conjuction with red skin could also be an allergic reaction; a reaction to drinking alcohol; or a reaction to certain foods.

As far as more serious health conditions, I really don't know.

If it is momentary or brief, it might not be worthy worrying about--unless, of course, it's allergies, which can be treated. See an allergist.

If it is long-lasting, you should certainly ask another medical professional.
