Sometime we focus on the "disgusting" so much that we don't realize the beauty. If you are questioning God that means you are a believer. And if you mind is able to see the worst of a world that a mighty and powerful God has created, you, my dear, are focusing on things that are not of God nor meant for this world.
Once YOU refocus, only then can you understand your purpose in this world and making it a better place in your mind. Be like a child that sees rainbows and call it a miricles. Be like a child and see the trees growing its buds ON CUE every season. Be like a child and see the leaves when they turn all the colors of fall almost like someone painted them JUST FOR YOU. THEN, you will see more then disgusting, you will find peace that passes all your thoughts, views and understandings. BE A CHILD again!

God didn't bring you into a disgusting world. God brought you into a beautiful world. Disgusting is a judgement. God doesn't ask us to judge. God asks us to live in love and treat others as we desire to be treated. God has never asked us to react to disgust, only to live in love. If most of the people on the planet would do this would be a fabulous place. It starts one person at a time. So the questions to you are these... Are you going to keep seeing and knowing a disgusting world? Or are you going to be a part of us who see the world as a beautful place, live that way, and make it better? The choice is completely yours, my friend. Choose wisely.

You are on the right track. Keep asking the question, you will figure it out. Their are grains of truth in almost every posted answer.

"I don't know," sounds the most honest.

I have my beliefs, faith, hopes, thoughts, desires, expectatons, speculations, and conjectures. I have my limitted wisdom, understanding, knowledge, logic, rational thinking, common sense, and intuition.

One universal constant ever-persistant is that there is more of what we do NOT know than we do know. We do know what seems to us, as what we think of as a whole lot of things; great accomplishments, great thoughts from great minds. To hear many of our Human bretheran tell it, "We are not far away from knowing it all.

Great thoughts from Great minds, that lack the quality of introspection.

Spend sometime contemplating, how you would make your world. Start with the simple life forms you would bring into the world. Work your way up to the most complex. Make the most complex group of your creation the physically weakest, but mentally the strongest. Mentally the most diverse, both individually and collectively. Arrange that in the mouths of respectable some Humans and in the text of respected writings, that a rule is given. The Golden Rule of "treat others the way that you expect to be treated."

Give the Humans donminiun over the previously created things, both living and non-living. Make the Humans Deputies or Vicegerants of the things created. Give them many generations to do this.

Humans are relative newcomers to this existance, We are children. Children learning responsibility.

If most of the universe is nothing, and if we knew everything there is to know in the universe, then we would know a lot about nothing.

You must ask so that you may know.
Keep asking!

The world, this dirt ball that we reside on as microorganisms, did not start out as digesting. In fact, there are an amazing amount of places where the wonder and beauty of this planet are quite striking.
However, sin entered through Adam and Eve and from that point until now, man can do nothing but screw things up. Ho Foo!
So why are you here? Well, you can make a difference, but only by understanding that the war, the animosity, that demand for payment, that man perceives in God is satisfied through Jesus.
Therefore Jesus is the place to start. He is the creator God and the one who knot you together in your mother's womb. If you really want an answer to your question, check with the manufacturer.

He didn't. Your parents brought you into this world.. God allows us to make things to happen.... WE can make it better or make it worse. It is called 'free will'.

Those who only look at the bad side of things will ALWAYS feel bad. Those who look at the good side of things will stand a chance of both feeling good AND having the energy to make a difference. It is up to US to make this world not- disgusting.

When I was a child, I could not see how ONE person can make a difference. But, as an adult (Incidentally, I have also been homeless and worked my way back from that, after learning a lot of things entrenched in the streets (but no drugs for me)!).

As an adult, I see many days where one person's smile can make someone else's day. What do you think changes when that person's day is made nice ?? I highly recommend the movie "Pay It Forward". It may spark a little warmness and hope in your heart.

It is the same concept as my mom used to tell me. You cannot ever repay your parents for everything they did for you as a child. You can only do your best for them in their elder years and take good care of YOUR children....going forward in the grand scheme of things.

:-)

The world (and the entire universe) was created perfect (about 6,000 years ago), but then sin interred the the world through the first man Adam, and that is why the world looks disgusting. The link below explains the subject in more detail.

Well, I was brought here to shed light on people like you who've lost sight of the many beautiful things God has given us. Death, distruction, shame...these are all things man has had to deal with since the beginning of time. Don't let those things interrupt you getting a chance to learn new things, see God's wonders. When I feel as you do now I go to the beach around sunset. I always feel like God puts on an amazing show at that time. Try it. Take it in and let yourself feel his power. This world is truly amazing. You should learn to appreciate the little things more.

God gave us Life & this world cuz he loves us! However... Due to sin entering the world through Adam & Eve & them buying into Satans lie & going against God..... The world from that day forth would be a sinful, evil place.. (not what God origonally Intended for us) But man kind Blew it & let the Devil/Satan win..
(but for a short time)
So..WE ARE ALL SINNERS!
& God loved us still.. even in our sinful nature & he didn't want us to die & that would be it...
He wanted us to love him back & spend eternity with him..
SO God gave us a way to do that.. He gave us his son.. to die on the cross & pay the penalty for our sins! With out Jesus dying for us we would just die as sinners & have no life afterwards.. We would never find the love & fellowship with our God.. (that is exactly what Satan wants) All you have to do to be saved is truly believe you are a sinner in need of a savior,Repent/turn away from your sins & place your faith, trust, life, & heart in the Lord Jesus.!!!
Yes, I will agree this world is VERY disgusting! However there is a better place for us all! This is not all there is to life. There is Jesus & a place with the Lord in heaven where there will be no more pain, sorrow, suffering, death, evil, no more ugliness,... I'm sure you get the picture.. I pray you do

God Bless & hope you see the light & this helps

God created everything perfect and beautiful. If you see the world as disgusting, what are you doing to make it a better place? We humans have made it into something disgusting because of our own selfishness and sin.
