I think that a woman with tat's are sexy to a point. They have to go with that person's personality. A lot of tat's that women are getting on their lower back just because they think it looks cool doesn't mean it is sexy. There is a 48 year old woman at my work where she got a tat on here lower back and runs down pretty far past the belt line and when she went to show me and a friend that was gross!! Girls that are into music and are creative usually will have some nice tat's even if they have a sleeve on their arm done it could be sexy. I would say it depends on the tat and their personality together.

There are things that make or break a tattoo on a woman and they are:

1. Location...try to avoid breast, face, neck, and genital tattoo's as very few of these look as good as a womans skin on these areas.

2. Style...don't get a prefab tattoo unless its really really great, otherwise it just looks cheap or worse, trashy. If you like a certain tat that you have seen on another person, try to identify what you like about it and talk with your tattoo artist about modifying the design so it is unique, just like you.

3. Meaning...tattoos on men and women are trendy and kitch if they don't have a meaning for the wearer. If your tattoo doesn't mean anything too you then it just becomes a perminant accessory, instead of a spiritual statement.

I know, I know a lot of people are going to tell you to get what you want where you want it, and that is true to some extent. Just realize that the more personal the style, placement and meaning are to you, the better your life with the tattoo will be.

Sexy is confindence, apperance, attitude and wisdom. If you can master all of those things a tattoo will make little difference.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on the tattoo sometimes. Some tattoos are just ugly no matter what.

One of the sexiest tattoos on a chick that gets me fascinated to my core is when there are little leopard spots or any kind of small markings that track up the spine from the base of the back to the base of the neck.

The LEAST sexy tattoo is the tattoo chicks get across the top of their backsides above their butt cheeks, usually in a v-shaped type of scrolling or design. It's so old. Maybe that was sexy 10 years ago, but not nowadays (every other chick has that tattoo).

I think that some tattoos on women are fine. My fiance has a small tattoo on her lower back and it is fine. Some women have tats on their sleeves and I find this quite gross, look like friggen sailors. Some women get them on their bottom or chest. They may look pretty good when a female is younger but as they age and mother nature takes over their bodies these cute little roses or butterflies or whatever do certainly not resemble what they are suppose to as they sag and/or stretch. Tattoos are very popular right now and I have to admit that I have three myself. But it is important to remember before you get one that it is a permanent imprint that will be with you when you have children and grandchildren yourself. So my advice is to think it over carefully before making a selection and never get a name, other than Mom or someone in your family tattooed on you. I made the mistake of having two women's name tattooed on me and have had to have some restoration work done. And if you want to get a professional job later in life do you want the world to see this work. So I guess my answer after all that rambling is that if placed in an appropriate area tattoos on women can be quite nice but when put elsewhere are actually a turn off to this fellow anyway.

lol, where I'm from tats mean something completely different. I was gonna say hold on, I thought ALL women had tats. But since we're talking about tattoos now, they don't make a difference to me either way. It's definately not gross, unless its all over your face or something. So don't let what men think put you off.

Tattoos on women are (in my opinion) trashy. They make a woman look cheap and trampy.

Now - I love my daughter no less (she's grown) but she's got a a few tattoos and she knows my opinion. She didn't give a crap what I thought and I doubt anybody else does either.

Trouble is she finds some people treat her negatively after getting the tats. Well, sorry. If you cant handle the stares and attitudes - don't get one.

It depends on what the tattoos are and where they have then. I love it when a gal has a tattoo on there lower back, I find that very sexy. And if the design is good and not of cheap quality. I have ten tatoos myself. I'm sure many women feel the same about how they look on men.

I personally don't find tattoos attractive, especially as people get older! I know they are the “in” thing to have now, and with all the people getting them, I know they will be excepted when all you guys get to be 70 or so! I can't imagine my 80 year old mother having a tatt!

I also see old men who got tattoos when they were young, and they look pretty bad! What else do you buy that you will still think is cool for the rest of your life?

Some men think it is very sexy because his little head tell him and some men don't and it is depend on the girls too. Is the girl hot like victoria secrete modle or is she over weight. If she hot and she have tats and let just say when she ware her jean that is low and when you walk behind her, you can see her tats, that to me, it tell me she is either wild in bed and little kinky at the same time, may be little dangerous, she like flirt with guys. She like to play game.

If the over weight girl have a tats, that is ok too like i said some guys like it and some guys don't.

It would depend on what the tat is, where it is placed and how many a woman has. A nice tat right in the small of the back is a total turn on to me.
