i go back to school in one and a half weeks to. are you going to high school? just curious....

anyways, talk to a stylist about getting your hair chemically straightened. they might also know some other treatments that can help with courser hair! best wishes & good luck!

You shouldn't perm your hair just to make it straight, because it can ruin your hair. But maybe the best way to make your hair straight is to go to a salon and get some layers and ask the hair cutter expert to straighten your hair for you. Usually they will put in some type of hair spray of mousse to help make it straight.

My sister bought this type of hair spray from the salon and it helped keep her hair straight. It worked really great. So ask the stylist for some ideas to help you get nice, straight looking hair. They will probably suggest a hair straightener iron or some type of spray.

go to the hair salon and ask for a perm (which curls white hair and straightens black hair). ask for someone who is particularly good at giving perms- look for a stylist with hair similar to yours (or at least, the hair you want).

I suggest you make an appointment at a beauty parlor where they specialize in african american hair.

Call a salon and see if you can get your hair chemically straitened or use a flat iron.

anyway, the hair. do you have it layered? if you don't, do. that looks really cool. and it down, not in any style.
