I feel the one of the best prayers is this following poem by Rudyard Kipling. A student needs to do his/her duties and diligently pursue attaining wisdom. Work is the best prayer to God. Here is the poem.

IF
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

Prayer is simply communication a conversation with the Lord who dearly loves you. It does not have to be specifically worded or poetic... just speak to him from your heart, talk to him like you were talking to your best friend let him know your lifes dreams and desires. Always remember the wonderful loving God of all creation who has everything at his command.... he only wants for one thing.... and thats a relationship with you.... he wants to hear from you..... he wants you to speak to him and allow him to show his love in your life. He is a gentleman he will not force you... but he waits...... what are you waiting for :))

Are you asking us to pray for a student, or are you asking for us to give you a prayer to give to that student in writing? A little more info please.

The format of a prayer is not important. Just talk to God as if her were your best friend. That's what He wants. You don't have to be formal. He alredy knows everything you want to say so just say it. Talk to Him normally.

Prayers don't need specific wordings. Speak from your heart to God. He will understand.

The prayer is "Rabbe zidni ilma". (O God, enhance my knowledge)
Tell that student to repeat these words about 1000 times a day.

Sorry, but no. I'm an Atheist and we don't waste our time on pointless things such as prayer. But, I do hope for the best for you.

Father,
You know what the need of this student is, and I am lifting them up to You today. What ever their need is, I trust in you and your will for them. I ask you to cover them in your shield of protection, and keep their path well lit with other Christians to surround them in their daily walk. If they do nto know you, I ask that you send that special someone into thier life to lead them to you. I prasie you for blessing this student with such a friend that they have, that cares enough for them to ask total strangers to pray for them
I place my total trust in you and your will for these people. In the precious name of Jesus, amen
